Anybody who thinks he's going to score less than 20 must be assuming that he's going to get injured. That's the only thing that can keep him under 20...hell, under 30 even. Wouldn't be all that surprised if he makes it to 50.

It all depends on how well their respective teams do in each competition. Assuming they both stay fit, they will play around the same number of La Liga matches and will score about the same probably. Real Madrid are more in danger of getting kicked out of the Copa Del Rey as things stand, but I can see both teams reach the final if they avoid each other until then. So I think Messi will score more Copa Del Rey goals than Ronaldo. I see Barca going far in the CL, but you never know about Real Madrid. They haven't been doing well in the past years, but now they have The Special One at the helm and they are favorites to win it.
Personally, I think it will be very close between both players and Messi might slightly edge him.
