    I don't have a problem with players being asked a question and answering it, they can babble on about how much they like because that makes good stories but Xavi said shit completely out of the blue. Just realised your's a miss translated quote, he still commented on how he was on loan though.

    Because you shouldn't comment on players under contract at a different club.

    Pretty sure I've seen comment on Harry Redknapp's classic "I don't want to talk about another club's player, but he's triffic and we'd love to have him" line.

    This is no different. In fact it's worse, they've said that Fabregas can not win at Arsenal.

    Oh yeah I know you'll find these comments at every club. But I can't help but notice the amount of times Barca do it. It comes from like three of their players every window.

    That's all I think they're cunts for, nothing else. Same as I think Redknapp is a cunt for the quote I posted in my above post.

    In the eyes of FIFA, yes. It's obvious the players are being told to say this though, otherwise the manager would be saying that the players don't pick the team and shouldn't be identifying transfer targets for the club.

    I can't imagine Pep instructing players to "tap up" targets tbh. Although the possibility of Rossell, Cruyff etc doing so is possible I guess.

    I know everyone was an exageration but if 2 big clubs can conduct themselves apprpriately (especially chelsea of all teams) why can't Barca?

    Manager/President, it's all the same. And I can 99% guarentee there is someone telling them to say it for the reason above.

    If I was a manager and one of players started saying "Player A" should join I'd be calling them into my office and saying "Who the fuck do you think you are picking players for my team".

    Just because a loop hole is being used doesn't change the fact it's morally wrong.

    Chelsea tapped up Ashley Cole, if you look hard enough (which isnt hard at all) you can find examples of any big club tapping a player up.

    It doesn't have to entirely instructed by the manager Fanatic, Rossell deals with the transfers and Pep just tells him what he wants when instructed. Rossell tomorrow can sign a player and just say "oh stick him in your squad Pep".

    If Barca players get asked a question about Cesc they are expected to answer, but the way in which they as a unit spoke to different papers on their own accord calling out for Cesc was out of order.

    Like I said earlier every club does do it, we even got fined some years back for Christian Ziege. But Barca, in recent years, have been doing it shitloads of times.

    First, I would like to know where people are getting the idea that Barca are claiming Arsenal of robbing the player. If you actually read the article, nothing of the sort was mentioned.

    Second, Barca aren't trying to "steal" Fabregas. In fact, Fabregas is the one who claimed he wanted to play for Barca.

    Those are just a couple of players saying their opinions. Club can't really be held accountable. Like I said, Fabregas said he wanted to move to Barca. If he wanted to show respect to Arsenal, he would have made a definite public opinion on either direction.
