Sky Sources: Manager Dean in talks with 2 clubs
Sky sources understands manager Dean, also known to as Plan D is currently in talks with 2 over the possibility of becoming their new manager, with The-Playmaker's Cup 2011 around, clubs are keen to recruit new manager's in, in time for the Cup which begins in 2 days time. We are led to believe Dean is currently talking to 2 clubs, both are believed to be not Premier League Clubs and sources in Spain suggest Dean IS talking with a club from La Liga. Sky Sports Spanish journalist Graham Hunter revealed to us today, he believes Dean is currently talking to a Spanish club, but refused to name the club in question
Hunter said : '' I can confirm from sources in Spain, Plan D is talking to a La Liga club, I cannot reveal which club that is sorry, but I can confirm Dean is currently in talks with them, I'm led to believe talks are at an opening stage and nothing has been settled yet nor confirmed, however I do undersand both parties are very much intrested in each other, expect news to come out within the next 24 hours. ''
However stumbling blocks may arise as an update is due out Wednesday which means clubs have to submit their new squad for after the January Transfer Window which may mean clubs cannot enter the competion due to not making certain requirments. Also the tournaments advisors have not yet set definitive rules to the competition, which also may prove problematic in managers looking for clubs.
BREAKING NEWS: BBC Sports understand that Dean, currently a free agent, is in the midst of contract talks with Atletico Bilbao. He has been spotted in the region close to Ladrillera which is only a walking distance from San Mamés Stadium. However, there have also been conflicting reports Plan_D was spotting in Italy having talks with the Udinese president.
Dean, who has had major success in the past with Liverpool and Barcelona, issued a formal statement in the last few minutes. He said "I cannot disclose any information about the club(s) I am negotiating with as it may jeopardise the deal. But, what I can tell you is that I have chosen a team in La Liga.

After up-and-coming English manager Ben Wignall claimed he would take over Italian side Napoli, a second club has come into the running to take Wignall to their stomping ground, and that club is thought to be a fellow Italian club, Palermo.
Star players for the club Pastore, Miccoli, Hernandez and Cassani have all pledged with the chairman to bring Wignall to the club, thinking he can be the one to win them trophies. Wignall refused to comment linking him with the Palermo job.

I think folk need to remember that a few teams will move out of the 4* range, i.e. Napoli, Borussia Dortmund.

In a remarkable outburst from Rastamouse regarding his actin career, the Police were called in to arrest President Wensleydale, after he admitted to possession of Class A drugs, which he'd hoped Rastamouse would buy off him. Strangely enough, this wasn't the last of the days evens in todays press conference. Rastamouse went on to give another speech. "So den, as you is all here, I is guessing you wanna know why I came to Charlotte Jackson at Sky Sports, rather 'dan a regular News Channel? Well, da reason for dat is cos of 2 tings. 1 of those things is cos I 'av been sleeping with ma bredrin Chazza. Man she is well bangtidy an as some propa' nice titties. I would suggestr giving dem tings a good suckin' if you ever got da chance. So yeah, dat is 1 ting why I came to Sky Sports. I'd went a week without her gash and Rastamouse was horny. Da 2nd ting why I came to Sky Sports, is cos I am now taking up a new career path. I is plannin' to be a football manager! Dat is right people, me, Rastamouse, will be takin' charge of a team. Da team in question is from a country which us mice detest, as it is full of filthy rats! But dat is not gonna stop me from going to Turkey. As of now I cannot release who dis team is, but by tomorrow, I will holla at ya, an let y'all know. But I might also find Russia tempting. ACCESS DENIED!
Rastamouse denied entry into Russing, quashing all speculation that he is set to take up the managerial job at Russian side Zenit
Just moments after releasing a statement decalring his ambitions to move into managerment in Turkey or Russia, Rastamouse has already been denied access into Russia by the Russian President, Ripya Bolokov. It is rumoured to be triggered through Act 17. 2 in the Russian Laws, but no one in Russia bar the government have access to these strict rules. There are rumours that this may also be a racist move by the Russian President. It is no suprise that Ripya Bolokov has it in for Rastafarians after he was sold a dodgy copy of a Bob Marley album, we were told by an inside source.
After hearing the news, we managed to catch up with Rastamouse round the back of the SkySports studios where he was just lighting up a massive zoot. We told him the developments, but after sitting there for 5 minutes without no reply from him, he just walked off, saying "Man dat is some well good shit. Need some food, bad munchie tings goin' on"

Besiktas announce Schuster’s sacking and Fanatic’s appointment
Besiktas have officially confirmed Fanatic as the new manager of the Turkish club taking over from Bernd Schuster who will leave with immediate affect. The statement on the website read “First off all we thank Bernd for his one and a half years of service. Unfortunately, during this time we have regressed as a club and we believe Fanatic can be the man to turn our fortunes around. We are delighted to have such an accomplished professional onboard and we are confident he can take us to the next level"
The deal looked to be buried when the two parties failed to agree to personal terms but everything fell into place today. Fanatic said “From day one it was always an ambition to manage this team. There were a few hiccups along the way but we finally managed to agree terms and conditions. Asked whether he believes Besiktas can go all the way in the tournament he said “I wouldn’t be at this club if I didn’t! I look at the supporters and the whole ethos around the club and i think we need to match that on the field, if we do, we will be world beaters.
Simao seals three year deal
Simao will be following Fanatic into Besiktas after a three year deal was sealed today and Fanatic couldn’t be more thrilled stating “The lad is full of enthusiasm and has experience on the international and club stage. We hope he can hit it off the ground running and provide the same service he did during his spell at Atletico”.
Besiktas will play four games before the official tournaments starts where the whole world will be watching to see whether or not this young manager can fulfil daunting expectations.
