Alright, so the Sun thinks Cesc will go from Arsenal to one of their rivals that also happens to be performing worse than Arsenal, over a team that is being looked at as one of the greatest of all time and one that he played for as a boy?

Actually, that's not what the article says at all. The article isn't about Cesc's intentions, it's about Chelsea's. It's only claiming that Chelsea is planning an attempted swoop. In fact, the article asserts that the biggest obstacle to such a deal happening may be Cesc himself.

"The biggest obstacle could be [Fabregas's] reluctance to cross London. A move to Stamford Bridge would be viewed as treason.
Fabregas has admitted he feels a huge debt to Wenger and Arsenal, so fans will hope for those reasons Abramovich will find it impossible to lure him away."

It's still a steaming load of BS.
