Sky Sports News understands Tottenham striker Robbie Keane has undergone a medical ahead of his proposed move to West Ham.
The 30-year-old has made just seven Premier League appearances for the North London outfit after falling down the pecking order under manager Harry Redknapp.
It has been reported that the Republic of Ireland international is set to seal a loan move to Upton Park with a view to a permanent deal at the end of the season if Avram Grant's side avoid the drop.
Redknapp has previously stated that he would only sanction a permanent exit for Keane, but could now be willing to alter his stance.
The White Hart Lane club accepted a £6million bid from Birmingham for Keane earlier this month, but the striker failed to agree terms with the Blues.
The proposed move to East London means West Ham would be Keane's eighth club.
His total transfer fees to date have exceeded in excess of £80million following stints with Wolves, Coventry, Inter Milan, Leeds, Liverpool and a loan spell at Celtic.
He could sort them out, decent piece of business if true.
