Heard a rumour that Rovers are after Raul? I think he could do a great job for Blackburn but can't see him going tbh though.

Terrible day for Blackburn, Not only did they get defeated by Wolves. But Benjani also rejected a new contract offer to join Portsmouth.

Unlucky man.
Did Goodwillie play any part in the game?

Thanks man, I have a feeling it's going to be a long hard season for us.
And I'll be honest man, I don't know. I'll be watching Match of The Day later so I'll find out then.

He played some part as you may have seen, and hit a shot just wide. I hope he does well, and doesn't end up to be another Connor Sammon. He was banging in the goals for Killie in the first half of last season, moved to Wigan, and has hardly scored a goal since.
20k a week is quite low considering how much some players are getting paid these days.

Rumours circulating that Steve Kean is going to be sacked, with Mark 'Sparky' Hughes set for a remarkable return to be club.

I hope it's true! I wouldn't like Kean to be sacked right at this moment though, it could disrupt what little time we have left to deal in the transfer market.

Re: Blackburn Rovers FC Official Thread
Rovers are optimistic that Junior Hoilett will be fit to face Arsenal at Ewood Park next Saturday.
The Rovers forward sustained a nasty injury in the closing moments of the 1-1 draw with Fulham, colliding with Mark Schwarzer, sustaining a concussion and having to be stretchered off the pitch.
Speaking after the game, boss Steve Kean confirmed: "Junior has got a nasty gash on the side of his head, he's got three or four stitches and he's got a big swollen eye.
"He's been knocked out, he's had a bit of concussion but he is now back on his feet.
"I don't know if he'll go to hospital, maybe he can come home with us.
"Hopefully he'll be back for next weekend, it just depends on the severity of the concussion.
"We'll take the lead off our medical team, he's in great hands."

I'm 6 miles from PNE, 8 miles from Blackburn. NEarly slap bang in the middle need to go through Ribchester and Wilpshire to get to Blackburn though
Or the M65, but other way is quicker for me.
