I wasn't sure whether to get Arshavin and Cech or Carson and Essien. I chose the latter, I have no idea why

Dembele is the biggest steal at 5.6. Nasri (if he plays) at 7.2 is brilliant too.

Thing with Essien though is that he's quite a defensive midfielder. Up until last week he wouldn't have got you many points.

Yeah, thats the thing. But, he's pretty much got none conceeded already. I can't see Blackpool scoring. If they do it's only going to be 1. Also, Essien should get at least an assist or a goal.

I hope so It'd be good if they conceded 1 tbh, that'd mean all those with Chelsea defenders won't get many points.


It's also why De Jong (4.5) and Y. Toure (5.5) are so cheap.

Hmm, I don't like ahving DM in my team thats the thing, I prefer just having my 3 defenders and 4 midfielders. Terry, Malouda and Droba SHOULD get me in excess of 25 points combined in my opinion.

Yeah me too. My friends all thought they were really clever getting loads of cheap good midfielders but didn't realise that it's cause they were defensive and would never get points.

I have Sorensen on my team and Stoke have conceded at home to West Ham. Go figure.

I've decided to get rid of Petrov from Bolton and replace him with Scott Parker for next week. I expected Petrov to play a key role for Bolton but so far he has been useless and his value has decreased from 6.0 to 5.8. And Scott Parker is worth the transfer at 5.4.

Yeah I've pissed off Petrov. Gonna check in Essien for Scholes.

I'm still debating bringing in Essien. Was thinking of bringing him in for Arteta but I feel Arteta might hit form after scoring the tying goal against Man United last week.

I'd go with Essien, with their form he'd be more reliable. Essien has 3 in 2 at the moment too.

Yeah, he apparently assisted Samba's goal. A goalkeeper assisting a defender in scoring.

So Dann gets an assist and then goes around and scores an own goal and then gets nutmegged by an Odemwingie goal.

Only two playing currently are Bale and Carroll, so far only 1 point each
