Re: Official Rugby League Thread
Our team is ridiculous this year. On par with 2010, when we won the league.

Fantastic game yesterday, we honestly didn't deserve a draw. Fantastic defending from the boys in the Red Vee but shit attacking. James Roby was fucking shit for some reason

Good win for Bradford, Cass need to step up and start winning matches. Chase will leave if they don't make the Play-Offs.

Re: Official Rugby League Thread
Super League leaders Wigan are in talks to sign Salford half-back Matty Smith, according to Warriors coach Shaun Wane. The 24-year-old is approaching the end of his contract with the Reds. Salford coach Phil Veivers said on Thursday that he expected Smith to leave at the end of the season, with Wigan among the clubs chasing him. And Wane confirmed to BBC Radio Manchester: "We're speaking to Matty. There's been no offer made, but we're very interested in him." St Helens and Widnes are also believed to have registered an interest in Smith, who has also been offered the chance to remain at Salford. Wane is also hoping to persuade Brett Finch to stay with the Warriors next season. "We're still talking to Brett so there's no change there," added Wane. "We've made an offer to him and he's deciding what to do. "I know I need to work on things and make sure we've got things in place for next year, but I'm happy with the way things are ticking along." Wigan moved three points clear at the top of Super League with a comprehensive 50-8 victory at Leeds on Friday, while closest challengers Warrington, Catalan Dragons and Huddersfield were all beaten.

Re: Official Rugby League Thread
Yeah I saw that Saints and Wigan wanted him but I fully expect him to go to Wigan. We're reportedly signing Willie Manu and Jordan Turner from Hull FC.

Everyone signing our players/former players.
He's not bad yeah but he's not done anything for a while and most of our fans aren't finding him as a loss when he goes.

Sounds like there is some exciting news for Salford in the pipeline, hope it goes well for them! #RugbyLeague
GaryCarter_1979 Hearing Salford have struck a key deal to help them go forward. #rugbyleague
New owners coming in!? Thanks Wilky for everything if true but he has been trying to sell the club for years and with new owners we could become a force! I see the Salford Reds are arising.

This thread made me laugh.
Our big news is apparently reduced rent in the stadium and some new investors which we desperately need.

Brett Finch leaving.
Losing Finch, Lima, Leuluai and possibly Carmont next year. Need to replace them well.
