They'll probably play ridiculously good today, now that this is happening.

What Mal said. Look what happened last time a manager managed his last game for a club against us.

No official word yet, but I feel this is slightly unfair on Avram, as West Ham have improved recently.

I'd rather keep Grant. They finally seem to be finding their way now.

Re: O'Neill set to take over at West Ham
Why would Martin O'Neill take over as manager of West Ham? Surely if he waits a bit longer, a more attractive managerial post might come about. He has the CV and track record to get a job with a higher placed team.
This is no disrespect to Big Sam (and you know i always respect Big Sam ), i think West Ham is a job more suited to him as he has the experience of saving teams from relegation, even in the most dire of circumstances (like when he took over Blackburn who were 5 points adrift of safety at his time of arrival).
I'm not saying that Grant should be sacked anyway, but since it looks likely that he will, i think Big Sam would be a perfect replacement for him.
