Birmingham City V Aston Villa 100px-Birmingham_City_FC_logo

    vs

Birmingham City V Aston Villa 150px-Aston_Villa.svg

    Form
Birmingham - Birmingham go into the game on the back of a few decent results except for the Arsenal at home game
Aston Villa - Dropped into the bottom 3 after finding the start of 2011 and the end of 2010 a hard time to pick up points
    Key Men
Birmingham - David Bentley - Joined on loan, will bring quality to our poor attacking play. Seems he may make his debut in the derby
Aston Villa - Mark Albrighton - First derby game as an Aston Villa senior player, missed the last 2 games despite being a massive Villa fan
    Not So Key
Birmingham - Scott Dann - Unfortunately picked up an injury and will miss the next few games
Aston Villa - Ashley Young/Emile Heskey - Both miss the derby game due to wreckless red cards
    Prediction
    Birmingham 2-1 Aston Villa
Close game but because we are pretty tough at home and Villa are low on confidence i can see us edging it slightly

I agree with you. Villa low on confidence and the blues team will be buzzing with the high key addition of Bentley to bolster your attack with the quality you are lacking up that end.

Hopefully Birmingham win... not sure why they put this and the Tyne-Wear Derby on at the same time though Neutral

I think Birmingham will win this by a single goal, will probably be a typcial midlands derby, tight and scrappy but full of passion.

My prediction: Birmingham 1-0 Aston Villa

Went for a Villa win on this one. I think now that their key players are coming back from injuy they'd just have the quality to win the game.

Last season he was unbelievable for us and i think he won one of our Player Awards and is a big favourite amongst the fans.
For me though this season he is starting to piss me off, our attacking play is useless this year and for some reason alls Bazza wants to do is pass from side to side and back to the CBs. What really annoys me is that 99% of Blues fans still say he has been instrumental this season. Last season yes but this season he has become too negative....still a bargain though Birmingham City V Aston Villa 284837

Can't believe McLeishs tactics, so bloody negative...only 2 positives is that we didnt lose and Bentley was very good
