Band of Brothers or The Pacific?

Big question.
They were produced and directed by the same people, have quite a similar vibe about them. They are just different theaters of the war.

Band of Brothers just edges it for me.

Band Of Brothers all the way. Ive got both on boxset but Band Of Brothers has waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more action although i found The Pacific easier to remember in terms of characters. In Band Of Brothers it was like 'OMG Dave just died' im like which one was he

I found The Pacific really boring. I was absolutely gripped and addicted to Band of Brothers though. Simply awesome.
In fact, The Pacific was shite compared to Band of Brothers.

I found characters easier to follow in Band of Brothers. Mostly due to the Camp Toccoa episode which pretty much introduced them all.
The thing I disliked about The Pacific, is that the first few episodes follow Marines from a certain unit, then they suddenly seem to dissapear and they follow a different unit. Having said that, the Okinawa episode was bloody brilliant. Along with "Bastogne" easily the best episode out of both series.

Yh the Bastogne episode was quality, where Garnea (ignore spelling) got his legs blown off...he was such a legend ....but he survived so it's all good

I haven't seen Band of Brothers.

I liked The Pacific but it could've been better.....it wasn't really an action series/film it was more about telling a story.

I'd urge you to watch it.

Also, Major Richard Winters died a few days ago. I was gutted to hear about it. Just shows how attached you get to the "characters"

I've never seen Band of Brothers, but The Pacific was awesome.

Absolutely loved Band of Brothers, got the box set, brilliant series. Funnily enough about The Pacific, I got it on Blu-Ray for Christmas and literally about an hour ago finished watching the first episode.

First episode was good, picture quality was awesome and there's plently of extra's aswell, so it's off to a good start, hopefully the other 9 are just as good.

The Pacific gets better and better with each passing episode. The gore is a little bit too much for me at times .

Better characters, better actors.

But the pacific is still great. The epoisode were he is in the mental hospital is one of the best episodes.

Band Of Brothers. Didnt really rate The Pacific. Was too slow with too much irrelevant scenes

Up to part 8 in The Pacific. It has been a good series, as Lux said though, it doesn't see much of an action series type thing, it's more of just a long running story. It's really good, I've enjoyed it, but it's not as good as Band of Brothers in my opinion.
