Would have been a penalty even if Song didn't score. Shocking defending from Chelsea.

Re: Arsenal V Chelsea
Chelsea have been like Stoke without Delap, Cech is just smashing it forward and it's all a bit long ball.

Re: Arsenal V Chelsea
Surprised that Chelsea have been so poor, defensively alright but they have no attacking intent, missing Anelka. Arsenal deserve their lead though.

Re: Arsenal V Chelsea
Well said from a guy on Arsenalmania... say what you want about Theo but he is keeping Cole busy and got him a yellow already.Half Time Observations :-
1)Walcott is putting the fear of god into that **** thats what pace does
2)Nasri is a constant threat with his pace now
3)The team has defended as a unit and dealt well with the long balls always having 4 men back
4)Song has been selective while going forward and has helped the team defensively
5) Arsenal have won almost all the 50-50's apart from the first 5 mins and it shows

Re: Arsenal V Chelsea
Arsenal have played the best first half this season IMO.
We haven't done anything particularly sloppy or poorly, we are pressing, not loosing the aerial battle, and passing well.
I think the main difference is Arshavin. Without his lazyness on the pitch, we are allowed to play much higher tempo, pass better throughout the field, etc.

Walcott has been shit in the first half, he's so much better up front.
I still believe he can be a huge threat in second.

Re: Arsenal V Chelsea
is interesting
chelsea bench only has half fit player and youngster
in situation like this a few year ago they have best depth in history of football
they could bringing a tiago or a crespo or a robben or gudjonsen or a deco on to the field and change things and win the game. but they only have ramires lol
and mceachran!!!!ancelotti should play him now

Hope this ends in a draw. both Chelsea and arsenal losing points will be the perfect scenario.
