Tbh, I know what Andy is getting at. Some of their players they've bought since the Sheiks came in...

    Kolo Toure
    Lescott
    Bridge
    Jo
    Santa Cruz

    Wasted money on Robinho...

They've not exactly made the best signings.

    Jo was before the Sheikh's.
Santa Cruz was just some Hughes lovechild fetish.
Left-back was a problem position during that season, and Bridge was the best they could get in the January transfer window.
Lescott was brilliant at Everton so the purchase was justified, just hasn't quite lived up to expectations at City.
Toure was captain last season and plays every game, don't see what is so average.
Robinho was brilliant in his first half-season and was a signing of intent that then helped them to get other players. Also got over £20m for him so they only lost about £10m.

Plus you're forgetting these were all before they even got into Europe so the players they could attract weren't as great.

He's brilliant tbh, I don't know how Berbatov got in behind him at Goodison Park.

The Man City players were too busy adjusting their snoods, gloves and long sleeved shirts instead of breaking down our defence cheers
