Chairman Maurice Lindsay has confirmed that a deal has been agreed for the permanent transfer of Iain Hume from Barnsley for an undisclosed fee.
The chairman revealed: "It has been obvious for some time that we have wanted to make Iain's move to Deepdale a permanent one.
"During his emergency loan spell Iain's effervescent qualities and energy brought something different to our squad. I am delighted that we have been able to come to a financial agreement with both Barnsley and Iain himself.
"We cannot complete the paperwork on the deal until New Years Day, however, we have finalised arrangements now in order to make sure Iain is available for us for the trip to Crystal Palace on Monday."

I can't see Billy Davies joining i'm afraid. Neil McDonald seems realistic enough though, very decent manager.

He also had a season in charge at Carlisle where they finished 8th before he was mysteriously sacked. Then he joined Östersunds FK and in a five week period saved them from relegation. Plus when he took temporary charge of us he only lost one game.

just for you.
you must know more about them than the people actually running your club.
King is fucking amazing and will be a household name in the next 5 years and de laet is a competent defender who's only going to get better. strange how clubs have inundated us wanting to sign them for the rest of the season.
Preston going down.
