Everton and Aston Villa

Seems they became shite overnight. They are in 14th and 15th position (lower than the two clubs who sacked their managers) and are close to the bottom three.

WTF happened. Think David Moyes should move on? And is Houllier the right boss for Villa?

This is just natural for Everton. They're always below Liverpool.

When we were CL regulars, they were CL challengers.

Now we're top half, they're top half challengers.

Probably the league becoming more competitive. Teams are losing/drawing games they are expected to win.

Both teams had no money to strengthen in the summer. Not a surprise really

Yeah but the SFA gave us a no intrest loan because all their referees support us and want to see us win the league. Its a conspiracy against Celtic

The EPL has been more competitive than ever. thats why.

Everton's strikers suck, Aston Villa lost their manager and most influential player, both have injuries. Simples.

Our shite season is a combination of 3 things: underperforming players, Moyes' predictable tactics and no support from the board. Moyes has taken us as far as he/we can go as a club under the current management which has given him absolutely no financial backing... we have finally hit the wall. Having said that I still think we'll scrape into the top half by season's end

Villa's shite season is due to them finally getting a few injuries (they have gone relatively unscathed for the past 2-3 seasons) meaning their paper thin squad and lack of depth is now getting exposed. That and of course the change of management

It's annoying because alls Villa do is rely on counter attacks, they sit deep all game and just pump it forward to either Young or Gobby. At least Everton try to play football.
