Hope you're right but Man Utd are undefeated, full strength and probably the best counter-attack team in the league.

Our defence is fucking shite, especially with Vermaelen out... he's the only CB we've got who shows aggression, passion, determination etc.

Arsène Wenger has shed new light on the topic gripping English football - the wearing of snoods.

The Arsenal manager insists his players only wear the neck-warmers to help with injury prevention.

Amid the recent freezing conditions across the country numerous Premier League stars have been sporting the woolly accessories including Samir Nasri and Marouane Chamakh.

The garments have received mixed reviews from managers, players and fans alike but, far from being a mere fashion accessory, Wenger says the snoods were suggested by the medical staff at the Club.

“I get advice from the medical team,” said the manager. “We had some players with neck problems before the Aston Villa game, Nasri and Chamakh.

“That’s why we decided to let them wear them because they had some medical issues.”

Dont see the problem with them TBH. Snoods and gloves dont bother me. There the same as the thermal tops players wear under their shirts. Players should be allowed to use things like that to keep warm and make them more comfortable. Ill draw the line at players wearing full body warmers though

I think if Arsenal go with this:

    -Arshavin-Van Persie-Walcott
    -Nasri-Fabregas-
    -Song-
    -Clichy-Djourou-Squilaci-Sagna-
    -Fabianski-

Obviously if Fabregas is fit, that team would absolutely rape us.

Djourou and Squillaci don't exactly look strong if you ask me and can be easily exposed by Berbatov and co.

As Arshavin said, Arsenal 'always struggle in defence'.

Though that midfield and forward line is sexy.

If we did that though we could say the front 5 attack with your lengs out and Song to stay back and cover defence as if africa depended on him. It might work.

It's not our defence per se, it's the entire team and the tactics. Last season we had a quality defence man for man, but we still conceded a shitload of goals.

I'd rather have Nasri on the wing and Denilson or Wilshere in midfield. With Song now playing further up we need some balance, if we played Nasri, Cesc and Song then Nasri or Cesc would spend a lot of time sitting in front of the defence while Song attacked. I'd rather Walcott was used as an impact sub, I'm not sure he's good enough to start against Evra. Maybe if he came on he could play left wing, to get at whoever you play there, because let's face it, your options at right back aren't amazing.

Trust me, Djourou has been our best defender this season. He's been class.

Still, he's nowhere near as good as Evra. Nasri would have a better chance of beating Evra than Walcott, and Walcott would have a better chance of beating Rafael than Evra, especially a tired Rafael. Not sure if him on the left wing would work though, he'd try to cut in 90% of the time.

I don't know, I look at both of our teams and yours possesses much more quality, we're more solid at the back but I am not confident (I never am).

Djourou has been our best defender thus far and I'd love for him to start, but he's had a little niggle and knowing Wenger he wouldn't risk him. Even if he wasn't injured I know Wenger would start Koscielny and Squillaci Neutral
