Goaltenders are not defenders

So when people say a goaltender is the last line of defence - they are wrong.

I agree, they are attackers because they hoof the ball up field. Poachers aren't attackers though because they only put the ball in the back of the net, which isn't attacking, only running at a player or passing forward is attacking. As well as put the ball in the back of the net, which doesn't compensate for anything, poachers may also track back on the odd occasion which means they're defenders.

Goalkeepers = Attackers
Strikers = Defenders
