Hopefully. I think it depends on who they lose in the summer, and if they can find a competent striker.

Sampdoria? Last time I look at the Serie A they were title challenging.

Sampdoria are a good side IMO. I reckon Macheda will stay on loan.
Palombo's a great player too.

Saw that live. Really felt bad for Sampdoria and their fans, especially Palombo. Who would've thought they'd be in Serie B after such a great campaign last season? Hopefully they'll be back.

^ yeah, sampdoria went from playing champions league football earlier this season to relegation. ultimate letdown. probably the most disappointing team this season. their season went further downhill after pazzini and cassano left
anyone watching internapoli right now?
isnt napoli's equalizer offside? or is there some loophole in the rule that i missed

never mind, i just saw a slow-mo replay during HT
so thiago motta made a suicidal backpass in his own PK box. maggio, who was behind the goal (off the pitch), runs back on and intercepts it the ball, then assists zuniga for the goal
not offside, just stupidity from motta

Re: Serie A 2010/2011
I just seen on the tables on SSN that Sampdoria were relegated
They were Champions League last year weren't they? Or was it this year? Not too sure.
I don't know much about Serie A, but are they considered as a big'ish club? I was thinking maybe kind of the same as Everton are?

Yeah they were in the Champions league this season (not the groups...umm what do you call it It's the one where spurs played young boys this year)Forest wrote:I just seen on the tables on SSN that Sampdoria were relegated

Well they Sold Pazzini and Cassano and IIRC they wanted our Macheda to be their new Cassano...which was never going to happen . Still, I didn't expect them to go down
Btw.
Juve have sacked Gigi

What are Milan doing about Ibrahimovic? He was basically the magician in their title win.

Re: Serie A 2010/2011
Sampdoria were 4th last year and they're a big-ish club but they were probably going through hell financially. They sold Pazzini and Cassano in January. They sacked Di Carlo in March as well.

i guess that's a fair comparison, taking into aspect these two clubs' statures this past decade. but any club that loses their main playmaker and goal scorer are bound to have a significant drop in performance
like if chelsea sells lampard/drogba

Really going to miss Sampdoria, hopefully they bounce straight back up and somehow get Cassano back too. I want to see more of this -
