You're probably right. Mourinho doesn't always do that. Only when his team is obviously outmatched in terms of frontline firepower and typically only on the road or defending a lead (as he was in the Champions League last year). But as they are on the road and Real Madrid appears to have just as much firepower as Barca this year, I think he'll do what you've got there for most, maybe all, of the first half. But considering the team he's got, he'll come out of that shell at some point.

Have a feeling Real could take this. Benzema needs to have a big game though, he is capable just needs to be mentally right.

Tbh, if you've seen Madrid this season, you'd know he's stuck to what he said when he joined in the summer- a lot more attacking football. He'll go for it, there's no second leg involved is there? He's not gonna play for a draw..

There is a second leg, sometime in April.
And while a draw doesn't add any distance between Madrid and Barcelona, it prevents Barcelona for adding two points in a league that will likely be decided by one or two points (or goal differential).

Real get a huge advantage tonight if they win, he won't play ridiculously defensive

Probably yeah, fuck 3D glasses
Madrid haven't beaten Barcelona since May 2008, they won 4-1 (Ruud scored a pen )
Barcelona have scored 11 in the 4 games since, conceding 2

I think it'll be a different story here, either a 4-2-3-1 with Ozil trying to pressure Xavi/Puyol-Pique, or a 4-3-3 with Diarra sitting deep in the center. Either way Mourinho will probably play with a counter attacking mindset, I'd expect long balls to Ronaldo to exploit Barcelona's usually high line.

Barcelona 3-1? Are you mad?
Honestly, I think it will be a draw. Probably a 0-0 bore draw. I hope Madrid win though.

A win over Real tonight would make Barca the first side to win five consecutive “Clásicos” since the Merengues in 1965.
Real have conceded the fewest first half goals this season (2), but Barca have conceded the fewest in the second half (3).

Who is he? Are there stats backing that up?
