I am curious if this annoys you at all when this happens like when CONCACAF teams are invited to the Copa America. What annoyed me recently was when South Africa was invited and eventually won the CIS Cup (Commonwealth of Independent States) which is a tournament for nations that were once part of the Soviet Union. It really gave me a bad feeling because nothing screams Soviet Union like South Africa. Maybe it would have been okay if this was a country that was geographically closer to the Soviet Union.
