    They'll obviously get round it, but it'd be quite funny if they couldn't.  Pinto as their goalkeeper for a year would be comedy gold.

    Chelsea got away with it before, so I wouldn't be surprised if Barca do as well. If we do get banned, I hope it starts in winter 2015. All we need is a goalkeeper and a couple of center backs.

    Is it a ban from signing players at other teams or can they still get free agents who don't have contracts anywhere else?  Big news if it holds up though!

    Puyol's knackered and Valdes is a crock.  They needed replacing anyway.

    Ter Stegen has been cleared to sign for the club because the deal was agreed 3 months ago, just need his lawyers to get him registered now, If so Valdes might continue his plan of leaving

    This lousy ban if upheld will do almost nothing since Barcelona has plenty of talent already in the youth levels and such that they can get away without dealing with other teams.  If you want to be bold and do something meaningful then ban them from European football for one year.

    They're already short on defenders even if Puyol doesn't go, and if they lose Valdes and can't sign Ter Stegen, they're severely lacking in goalies.
