Think Arsenal have scraped this.
Dare I say, top 4 for Liverpool is a certainty now?

8 games + 1 in hand and 9 points clear of Spurs? Easily.Scott_LFC wrote:Think Arsenal have scraped this.

The difference in our defensive solidarity compared to Liverpool's is immense.

Excellent result, we have to be feeling fairly confident about toptable inferiority now.

It's quite evident that top-table superiority is a feasible objective for Liverpool Football Club.

Actually, you guys have been calling us a mid-table side for years now.

Finishing 7th, 6th, 8th and 7th will do that.SBSP wrote:Because you kind of were.Scott_LFC wrote:

Tbh, its refreshing just being in the conversation. We really could win the title, but years of mediocrity make me quite wary. If you'd offered me 4th at the start of the season I'd have taken it.Ra's al Ghul wrote:Moriarty wrote:Excellent result, we have to be feeling fairly confident about toptable inferiority now.

Agreed, but they expected us to continue to be so this year.
See the thread about "Liverpool being closer to Arsenal than people think" for the sheer arrogance of their fans. And then look at the table.

You're so embarrassing it's unreal,
"Arsenal fans said they are better than us!"
"Arsenal fans said that Ozil is sick"
"Arsenal fans had the cheek to say they will finish above Liverpool"
Who cares?

Oh also btw, congratulations for being better than us this season, ashame you only lead us on goal difference despite 2 of our most important players being injured and aren't going to win any trophies. LUL.

You act like we haven't had our own injury crisis We've literally not fielded our best back 4 once this season and have had Flanagan as our right back for the majority of the season, along with lengthy injuries to Lucas and Sturridge and Suarez missing the first 5 games.
Besides, weren't you all crooning about your depth? Yet you're moaning about injuries?

No, you've chosen not to field your best back 4. Sturridge wasn't injured for that long and Oh no! 5 games at the start of the season.. so significant!

Even if you were right in saying that we just haven't chosen our best back four, we've probably only had the possibility of doing so for like, 2-3 games in the entire season, so that's a nonsense comment.
Sturridge had had 2 spells out, both for a month each. 5 games is pretty significant, especially considering it's our best player. It's 15 points.
You guys were all wanking over your depth anyway, so it's pretty ironic to complain about injuries. Especially after I was criticising your medical staff early in the season.
The football you play is woeful compared to ours too. We play beautifully, yet you struggle against this pathetic Spurs side who lost 3-1 to Benfica and 5-0 to us.

Re: Tottenham vs Arsenal | Sunday 4pm
I cba to reply to most of exaggerated crap but congratulations for criticizing our medical staff earlier in the season, we've only been complaining about it since 2008. And depth doesn't really come into it when your crucial players get injured.
I was saying stuff like that when I was 14 it just doesn't matter as much as you're making out, we dug out 3 points whilst playing like complete shit apparently that's what we should be striving for.
