Its basically the same top 4 expect City have spent their way in and Liverpool have dropped in quality. Spurs have become regulars in challenging for it but in the past you always had one team that lurked around trying to get in I.e Everton, Newcastle, Villa. So its really the same expect City became rich and Liverpool made a lot of poor choices in the space of 3-4 years.Scott M wrote:1. Chelsea

How great would it be though, if somehow, it ended up being Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs competing for the top 3 spots whilst United, Chelsea and City bombed?
It's about time there was a shake up at the top.
It's also interesting to note how different the League is now, compared to the "big 4" era. (Man United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal).
The teams other than the above 4 were far inferior back then and the top 4 was always the usual suspects.
However, now you've got Man United, Chelsea, City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs as the teams who expect themselves to be challenging for the top 4.
It's not basically the same, because City are now in there and Liverpool aren't, plus Spurs have been finishing just outside it for the last few years (apart from the season before last when they actually finished 4th with Chelsea finishing 5th). You can't say that Newcastle/Aston Villa/Everton were the same as Spurs are now.Keyser Söze wrote:Its basically the same top 4 expect City have spent their way in and Liverpool have dropped in quality.
