Why else were your Bayern rated several points higher than the default Bayern? (I checked).

They weren't. Yesterday my MF rating was 77 because I was playing Tymoshchuk. The rating increased much more because I replaced him with Götze, and I made Robben an RM. 84 + 83 + 86 + 87 = 340 / 4 = 85
My ATT rating was 86 or so because I made Ribéry an LW, and Müller was my striker. 90 + 84 = 174 / 2 = 87
My DEF rating was 81 or 80, the same one it always is for Bayern. I even replaced Dante for Luiz Gustavo. Keep complaining
