    The main purpose of this thread is just so that I can keep track of my progress, really.

    The plan is to bet against Liverpool for every single PL game of the campaign. It'll either be a draw-no-bet or a handicap of +1 goal for the opposition, ensuring that I don't lose money for draws and potentially even make money from the draws (if I were to do a handicap bet).

    The stake will be £10 every game. I want to see if I end up in profit, or end up in the red. Either way, it benefits me as I'll either be happy at how well we're playing or happy at the money I'll be raking in.

    This weekend I will be putting the £10 on a handicap bet of +1 goal in Stoke's favour. Should we lose or draw, I stand to receive £30.

    Let the games begin.

    Will be placing the Stoke bet tomorrow. Just checked the odds again and it's changed from 2/1 to 11/5, so I'd get £32 back, not £30, as it stands. It may well change again tomorrow though.

    Off the top of my head, if Arsenal do the double over Liverpool in the league you have to pay me £50 & Vice versa if Liverpool do the double over us.

    You can propose some other ones if you like.

    And yeah you said that and then proceeded to argue with Keyser for at least another day so you never actually confirmed the bet was on. Plus if I remmeber correctly Henry ended up coming out and saying something shortly after (or during) your arguments about not selling to Arsenal so I would of pulled out.

    I propose:

    £25 Arsenal make it further in the League Cup
    £25 Arsenal make it further in the FA Cup 
    £25 Arsenal have a better heads up record against Liverpool, so for example say we beat you 2 - 0 at the Emirates and lose 2 - 1 away, Arsenal win in this scenario obviously. 

    I'll take your proposition if you shorten it to 7 or 8 points and for £25

    The gap is big enough that we will finish above you for sure but the point gap last season was 12 points, we haven't strengthened yet and you've made additions so you are obviously in better shape.

    Which bets are you thinking about? The point in the cup ones is that we don't know who we're going to be drawn against yet and I'm pretty sure the 3rd round draw gets done before the window finishes.

    Calm down, I only agreed to one bet.

    I pulled out for 2 reasons, one, I was at work and couldn't really pay full attention, which is dangerous when betting, and two, I am going to set a budget first, for all these Arsenal bets with Theo and then decide on which ones to go for.

    On that note, Theo, my budget is going to be £100. So, I reckon four £25 bets. What do you think?

    It must be really hard for you to multi task, you know, with work and eyeing up all the boys; I imagine it must be hard to throw betting in there too.
