Emotional responses is a part of a forum of discussion. However if there is a clear intent to use these responses to abuse one or more members on a frequent basis then that becomes a problem. The rules should explain it very well. As long as the rules are followed (even the ones that may seem strict) you will have no problem from me.

Agreed. Our past transgressions, if any, were few and only resulted because of baiting from the likes of the Maestro, Ahly, and Harrold.

These guys treated so many members poorly. I should have seen the signs beforehand, when Harrold & TM bullied Crump by making a Twitter account revealing disturbing comments he had made facetiously on the forum. I found it funny, but in hindsight, given the responsibilities and information of mine they would soon possess, it represents a worrying habit of theirs. This habit was only continued when (The Maestro?) nonchalantly distributed BladeGunner's IP address to the entire world and then brushed it under the carpet.

I keep on hearing about not having our past transgressions held against us, but in all honesty, we're the ones who have forgiven them. The Maestro revealed what a bigot he was by racially abusing Ahly with that photoshopped picture, and then banned me on here because of my religion. They also frequently abused us with foul language, acted condescendingly, and treated us like dirt despite the fact that we sacrificed our accounts on other forums to advertise that place. I even edited the Maestro's university entrance essay for him, yet he was clearly taking advantage of my charitable side.

I understand that the Fantasista is probably in need of some activity right now. If you really want us to boost that place up, you will need to do more than this.

On more than one occasion we were told that our "type" was not wanted on the forum and that we were part of some "wolf pack"

It's just an offer. If you don't want to go there then that's your choice and that's fine. I'm not begging anyone to come back, I'm giving you the opportunity, and if you do not want it then just say so and I'll add you back on the ban-list if that is what you want. No pasa nada.

Someone edited my bio to say "I'm a pretentious douche."

It is nice to see that the moderators have done everything in their power to encourage me to return.

That place is plagued by its institutional bullying of certain members. I find it insulting that Laurencio would offer me a chance to return to that place without apologizing on the behalf of his colleagues. He is quite clearly more sensible than the incredibly unprofessional Harrold, the troublemaker Ahly, and the abusive bigot "The Maestro," but as owner of that forum, he is connected to the monstrosities that have occurred previously. I have nothing against him, but the way in which I and a few other members were stabbed in the back so readily by people we trusted and had known on other forums for years has quite clearly hurt.
