That sort of decision should be made more often. Defenders honestly cheat (pardon the pun) more often than strikers do.Ra's al Ghul wrote:I can't believe some of the reactions regarding the penalty decision in the Arsenal match. Instead of commending the linesman for spotting a blatantly obviously infringement of the rules that the referee should feel utterly embarrassed for missing, some people are actually berating him for making the correct call. It angers me so much when such people let their sympathies towards smaller sides get in the way of their impartiality.

Re: Chat Thread
It's also strange that nothing has been said of how Norwich got their goal, I think one of our players was fouled up the other end of the pitch, allowing Norwich break and then apparently Kamara got fouled by Gibbs, when replays then clearly showed that he tripped over his own heel. Good old Norwich though, they worked hard for that goal, and then they had every right to time waste...

I don't see Wigan as a bad team any more. Under Jewell and Bruce they were but they've become a decent team that actually linger in the drop zone because they try to play good attractive football using technically inept players. If they played the way Stoke, West Ham, Norwich and the rest of the shit teams did then they'd be higher up the league.
Don't like Southampton or Villa.

I don't care for Southampton, but they at least have a few entertaining players in comparison to the Big Sam-type teams. I have family connections to Villa, and I respect the way they stuck with Lambert and their young players when they looked to be dead and buried.

I don't like any Midlands teams after Birmingham beat us in the CC Final and Southampton have annoying players like Jay Rodriguez and Ricky Lambert.

I wonder what would happen with the Ricky Van Wolfswinkel transfer if Norwich go down? Surely he'll be too good for the Championship and wouldn't want to play in it. Are players able to pull out of confirmed transfers like that?

Lambert is probably the most bearable English target man. He has more skill than Holt, Carroll, Zamora, and Crouch combined.

America, don't ask me specifically where.
I thought they were part of a pre season tournament, not right at the end of this season.

I don't, mf. I heard that stadium has a great atmosphere, though.
I think it would feel kind of weird watching a footy match in a baseball stadium

I saw a baseball game there six or so years ago. It was rocking.King Zibra wrote:I don't, mf. I heard that stadium has a great atmosphere, though.

Lincoln Financial is an NFL stadium, right? I've seen a lot of games there. I know that Liverpool played at Fenway last summer, the stadium plan for the match looked dreadful.

Makes me wondered how much they get paid for those American tours. Actually makes me wonder how much Vergara paid Manchester United to come to Estadio Omnilife's grand opening.
Such great memories. Not sure if it was here or at EA but we were all watching the match and some of you guys were laughing at Bofo throwing a shoe at the crowd. Good times, good times.

Went to see PSG x Chelsea there last summer. It was alright. Lots of fair weather fans so the atmosphere was meh.

Wasn't that the one where Hernandez played a half for Chivas and a half for us? It's probably going to be one massive bitch fest about United where both City and Chelsea get together and have a giant orgy whilst discussing tactics on how the two can work together to knock United off their perch
