The actual gif is definitely the best image on the internet, followed closely by my sig.

Agreed. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Does strike a middle ground between the swashbuckling violence of Spartacus and drama and intrigue of Game of Thrones. Which is needed for a balanced diet.

And to add to that Da Vinci's Demons is premiering next week, as is Showtime's new season of Borgias.
I'm starting to realise that I have so many potential spoilers for GOT collected in my head that it's starting to feel like simple rumours. Nevertheless I'm avoiding everything except trusted review sites. Humanity has no decency in these matters.

It's the kind of thing I enjoy and would also be able to watch with my parents present. That's always a good combination.

Dead Island feels quite fun after the first few hours. Not as hard as I expected though.

Re: Chat Thread
Are you still at the resort. The difficulty increases significantly in the second act. There's a place that is absolutely brutal, called the Quarantine. I've been playing solo the entire game, I'm on the last mission before the end and all five of my deaths have been in that place.Eternal Witcher wrote:Dead Island feels quite fun after the first few hours. Unless your doing all the quests it's possible to avoid the place altogether though.
One of the most enjoyable games I've ever played, that's saying a lot as I'm not really a big fan of "newer games" I prefer the 8 bit age.

Yep, just me strolling around enjoying the spectacular graphics so far. Worst I've faced are the thugs, and they can't cope with my fury mode. Which is freakin awesome. Best game I've played since Bioshock infinite.Ché Guayaba wrote:Are you still at the resort. The difficulty increases significantly in the second act. "He was given a one-match ban and fined £7,000 for the incident, and was also banned for a match following a similar incident earlier in 2005."
Yet Suarez was given an eight match ban for a lesser offense. There is no justice in this sport.

I'm using Sam B and I hear his fury mode sucks so that's why I haven't invested points in it.

I'm the big black guy. Walked in on a thug standing just a few feet away from me in a room and went for the fury mode punches. Ripped his arm off somehow.

The Grim Adventures of Bill and Mandy is on there now though, so I'm all in that.

Re: Chat Thread
Just finished the game, fuck was the end brutal on your own. I went into the fight well prepared, had 30 large med packs. Had about 4 or 5 after the fight.
I think this game is meant to be played with friends.

Re: Chat Thread
Mid-way through the hotel, think I'll conserve the game for later now. Still seems easy enough, only used fury once. Blunt force trauma to the head was the main option till I added a chainsaw to my baseball bat. Felt invincible, no overly scripted fights yet though....I suck at them in any game.
