Liverpool will surely suffer without him I expect them to drop into mid-table inferiority.

Probably should have retired two years ago. Still a legend at our club. Will be strange not to see him in the squad next season.

Can't think of anything notable he's done in his career apart from being a pain.

Tbf, for just about all of the trophies Mouse mentioned he was a first teamer at the time, don't think Pinto ever has.

Still, he was always 3rd or 4th best English centre back throughout his career.

He's been quite good this season hasn't he? He was pretty impressive against Arsenal, still has it in him to play for Premiership club.

I class Campbell as a player who was just a bit before the times of those guys. He stopped being good for England in 2004 I think

Agreed. I would not even class him with the likes of Upson, Jagielka, or Lescott. He is probably more in his depth with the likes of Shawcross, Dawson, Turner, and Curtis Davies.

Jamie Carragher is third all-time in scoring AGAINST Liverpool. Only behind Henry and Andy Cole.

Absolutely. For a man that claims to be some humble, honest, hardworking everyman from Merseyside, he simply oozes arrogance. He admitted that he did not try very hard for England, yet he was perfectly willing to collect payment for his "services." He is more of a mercenary than Carlos Tevez.

Well, he did partner both Rio and Terry in consecutive tournaments (all be it because of Rio's ridiculous ban), and was in the squad in 2006..
