No, but it's always annoying to lose a 2-0 lead

Sz - 5 - Taking risks not needed, was at fault and if not Podolski on the line it would have been 2 before half time
Sagna - 5 - Overall won't be missed if he moves on
Mertesacker - 5 - Poor passing today gave the ball away twice in unnaceptable areas of the pitch and is starting to become exposed again like he was last season.
Vermaelen - 6 - Was part of the woeful defending in the first goal, but sured things back up in the 2nd half and cut out some key play which would have set Liverpool free on goal.
Gibbs - Can't give him a solid rating as he came off in the first half.
Wilshere - 8 - Proving himself every match, had a great run in the first half when things were not happening at all, inspired the team in the 2nd half also, but began to pick up play from deep after the 80 minute which I think was down to tiredness.
Ramsey - (-2) - Poor performance as usual, was all over the shop in the first half and second when Liverpool were breaking, giving the ball away for fun, didn't look comfortable receiving the ball that many times in the deeper role so opted to give the ball to Mertesacker to start our attacks, not sure why he played there when Diaby's more than capable of doing a better job.
Walcott - 7 - Was instrumental in our comeback and took things into his own hands, good performance and great goal.
Cazorla - 7 - Was picking up the ball a lot more in the 2nd half and it showed as him and Wilshere controlled the game for us.
Podolski - 6 - Doing his usual job, almost provided an assist for Giroud had Agger not deflected the ball, had a good performance.
Giroud - 7 - Improving each game and coming to grips with what's needed to be the main man up front, solid header the for the first goal, just has to keep performing like this in the bigger games.
Santos - (Invalid rating) Got beat by Downing

There was one point where he just let whoever was on the right walk past him and cross it in.

Agreed. He's one of the worst players I ever seen in Arsenal.
Talk in Turkey tonight that Fenerbahçe will try for Santos tomorrow.
Wilshere MOTM.

Doubt we'll sell him now Gibbs is injured

He's worse than Squillaci imo, worse player to ever play for us no doubt.Novi wrote:Santos - (Invalid rating)

It was Downing, he just jogged after him and he's incredibly unfit. You just have to wonder what Wenger see's in him, James Meade is a better left back than Santos and I'm pretty sure Mesbah, Martin Tyler, Tony Pulis and Ian Holloway could do a better job there.arsenalap11 wrote:There was one point where he just let whoever was on the right walk past him and cross it in.

The club that thought it was ok to keep the squad we had last year summer, thankfully United tore us a new arsehole. If it meant Liverpool spanked us 4-0 tonight, we'd sign top quality players I'd take it no two ways about it. But when we don't make top 4 this season, that's when Wenger will start signing, too bad there's no European football so why would they want to come here when Spurs will probably offer them it.PrideOfTheMidlands wrote:get baines, sell santos. sorted

Kieran Gibbs will miss three weeks after picking up a thigh strain against Liverpool tonight.
Good form in recent weeks, but his legs are made of glass.

Stoke H, Sunderland A, Blackburn H.
Hopefully we play Vermaelen at LB and Koscielny CB, and we actually sign another CB. Or we sign a LB. Just not play Santos basically.

I don't like both at all and if I got my way both won't be starting for us in fact Ramsey won't be in our club, but Mertesacker actually defended after a few blunders and was setting up our attack because Ramsey was incapable of starting it off. Ramsey on the other hand done nothing positive at all.Carlos Jenkinson wrote:19Jones19v wrote:Sz - 5 - Taking risks not needed, was at fault and if not Podolski on the line it would have been 2 before half time

Ramsey kept play ticking, hit a lot of nice long balls and broke up a lot of play. He actually did really well apart from losing the ball that nearly resulted in a goal. Mertesacker let Suarez bang in that "pass" and endangered us so many times, we really should of leaked like 4 goals because of that ballbag
