Re: Chat Thread
News are saying it's £5m, not £20m?
Rangers chief Charles Green hails share issue a success as fans plough up to £5m into Ibrox club
18 Dec 2012 07:29
GREEN had hoped to see supporters take up the share issue to the tune of around £10m but insists he's delighted with the result even though it falls short of his figure.

Re: Chat Thread
Not even sure if anybody is interested, but I forgot to quote the article for that.
Bit gutting for the people who live abroad, as there were so many institutional investors, it was made only available to fans in the UK so that they didn't run out.
You have to register your address etc, so there's no way of getting round it.
“The indications are there’s something like £3-5m there (from fans) so we’ll see what happens.
“In any amount it is a huge success. We said we wanted to a figure over £20 million and we have achieved that.”
It is believed that the timing of the share issue - coming so close to Christmas - coupled with the fact that prospectuses and application forms were only sent to some fans as recently as late last week has stymied some fans’ ability to invest, with a minimum of £500 required.

Wow, haven't enjoyed a demo like that in a while, has anyone played it from here? If so, is it as good as the demo itself?Kuled wrote:Downloading Spec ops demo, I heard it's good.

5 of my courses are half semester so they're finals. The one that's full year I just had my midterm for instead.crump wrote:When are the final finals Bogdan? I thought they were in the summer like over here?

Remind me again what game is Spec Ops? Cause I'm sure I played some sort of game that sounds a bit like Spec Ops, but it could have been a totally different game.

Spec ops: The Line. It's a 3rd person shooter that came out this year. In the demo, you're looking for survivors in Dubai after Rebels and a former US Delta Force team are at war...That's all I got from it so far. Really enjoyed it.Laurencio wrote:Kuled wrote:Wow, haven't enjoyed a demo like that in a while, has anyone played it from here? If so, is it as good as the demo itself?

Hmmm, now I can't decide.
Dishonored, Far Cry 3 or Spec ops.
I can choose 2 of them.

Ah yes, the full game is like the demo, only a tad too short for my taste. Should have been longer

Re: Chat Thread
To continue on from my earlier statement, The Rangers share issue has raised just over £22million.
Not bad with it being Christmas and all that.
I don't even think it was open for a month, is it usually that short for a company?
Edit: There was £26million worth available.

I saw Ben off here in Zante and started singing Leeds songs and Adebayor songs with him. Indeed it is a small world.
