Yeah I mean what are the opposition supposed to do? You are in relegation zone before the game and you don't have any special players. How do you stop Barca? They should just line up 5 players on the goal line.

Park the Bus, Mourinho style.

People always point to that match as a way to stop Barca, but did Mourinho really stop Barca? Barca won the match 1-0 against like 9 defenders. Not only that, but they had a second goal wrongly disallowed. Bojan also missed a sitter. Any other day, Barca could have won 2-0 or 3-0 against an ultra defensive Inter!!

Inter had 1 player wrongly sent off, and had to play defensive.
After winning 3-1 in the 1st leg, only holding Barca to 1 goal with 10 men ain't too bad.
----
PS: Chelsea were all over Barca the year before, when they played defensive. Barca didn't even deserve to go through...Chelsea had basically every decision against them.
So yes, parking the bus is probably the best way to stop Barca.

That red card wasn't wrong. He should have been given a yellow card (which would have been his second yellow in the match anyways). So 2 yellows and a red instead of a straight red.
Anyways, that's not the point. That one sending off was hardly a big difference. Inter were playing defensive before that red card. Barca also beat Chelsea against a defensive team. Parking the bus is no doubt a way to frustrate Barca, but they still somehow manage to beat the opposition in the end.

Inter won 3-1 in the 1st leg...
Mourinho's more of a defensive coach, and it's the way his teams play.
How else would you suggest to stop Barcelona then...since you don't agree with Hiddink+Mourinho's tactics.

Inter didn't play that defensive in the first leg. Plus, one of their goals was offside.
I don't think there is any way to stop Barca. If you want to try to stop Barca from scoring, you could park the bus. But it's definitely not guaranteed. If you want to score against Barca, I suggest playing long through balls to a fast striker. Barca have a really high defensive line which leaves abundant space in the back behind the line.

Pretty much that. two fast strikers and just hoof the ball accurately.

Aguero+Forlan.

The top tickets for this match was 80 euros. If I was an Almeria fan, I'd be fucking pissed and demand a refund.

Probably hiked up the prices because Barca were in town.
