Thanks for that, Zzonked. It is a cool back-story. I am almost tempted to read the other background works by Tolkien to see if I can pick up on other such references when I watch the LOTR trilogy in December.

Surely not? How many do you usually flog in a week, what sort of prices are they? The Maestro wrote:ForestLAD wrote:Why don't you get a normal part time job?
You probably don't make much selling paintings. Artists only get rich when they die
It is a normal job. Nope, in one day I could easily make more than some people earn in a week. It's easy money
plus I enjoy it

Do any songs bring back really specific memories to anyone? Like really specific
Like when I hear Estelle and Kanye - American Boy I instantly think back to when I was like 16 in my brothers car with this song on the radio on the way up to spar out my skull to get bruiser bars

Listening to Shabazz Palaces album "The Black Up" reminds me of Game of Thrones because I used to listen to that album while I read the first book.
50 Cent's album the Massacre reminds me of the Detroit Lions because when that album came up I started a franchise on Madden with them and played that game like 50 hours a week.

Detroit Lions were always my favorite for franchise mode. I'd always simulate the first season and then start with the draft, trying to build a team from there.

Depends really, sometimes I'm really quiet, but sometimes I can sell a lot in one day
These sell at £60 and this was done in one afternoon. And these ones are really bad but I still sold them

That's a great spot by whoever wrote that. The part about Legolas' smile is stretching it a bit though.
Also, Feanor the greatest elf of all time? ...nah.

When Dizee Rascal released these two songs I had them on my phone and they were playing in my headphones on my last walk home at the end of Year 9, it was a sad time, I left behind all my friends from Year 3 and everyone I got on with.

They were a blank canvas with how shit they were though, you could build whatever kind of team you felt like.
