They will all win, more likely.

He only failed to control one ball that was lofted up to him, he certainly looked a lot liver than Chamakh tbh. Yeah he came on against Newcastle, but that's all from the bench. It's difficult to do that. If he doesn't start in midweek against whoever we've got then I don't know wht Wenger's thinking. Now we have to start all over again, as I've said before we are a much better team away from home.Walcott wrote:V.Persie just didn't seem the same player though. His first touches are usually perfect and today they were awful. I know he's come back from an injury but he played time against Newcastle and the second half in the week. From how we played in the first half, to me, Theo would have been perfect. Running onto balls and running at defenders.

Um no. Chamakh has been excellent for us this season (his first season mind you) so to say he was a buy signing is just flat out ignorant. He has wrapped up points for us in numerous games and now we lose to Tottenham and suddenly he's a bad signing?
That's fickle.

For someone to arrive in the premier league and make that much of an impact you have to be good, but that's all he has really been.... nothing great. I've been saying it from the start, he's not the striker we need. We play it on the ground, and when we do play it in the air he's fumbling goals or getting out muscled. Wenger and Chamakh have stated themselves that he's a player to improve but thats not what we really need when we should be challenging for titles, especially at 26.
He's not really class and even by next season i don't see him turning into a class act

He wasn't brought in with the hopes of being our Henry. He wasn't a world class player in France and he won't be one in England, but he is a good player and good enough to partner Van Persie.
Also you have to remember that he wasn't an attack minded forward in France, his game is more of a lay off and play off others game so people shouldn't expect him to suddenly be this all out attack minded forward like Henry or Torres, etc.
What he is has nothing to do with us not challenging or challenging for titles. The same things were happening to us before he arrived. We were losing games last season at home and this season its just been more of the same typical Arsenal. This lose is on the team as a whole and even though certain players look like shit, ultimately the team failed to show up in the 2nd half of the match.

We don't need a good striker, we need a great striker who should atleast be scoring 18+ and Chamakh will never be that guy which was what i was saying when he was in France. Yes i know, horrible team performance... he out of our 11 probably performed better than 7 of our players but generally he's not that striker is he

More chance of Wigan getting something out of us.
