Re: Man City vs Real Madrid
God, I remember when I gave a shit about the Champions League. Feels like ages ago when I actually had a reason to care about it.

If they win, they'll at least have a better chance of getting into Europa leagueCam wrote:It'll be because he's injured slightly or something. They're practically out anyway, even if they score in this match

Hart saying the ref didn't have a good game. Yeah Ronaldo was fouled about 3 times and nothing was given.

Re: Man City vs Real Madrid
People are saying Dortmund won the group, but they are on 11 and Madrid on 8.. GD is close enough that Madrid can tie on points and win on GD in the final round, Madrid also has more goals scored, what am I missing?

Re: Man City vs Real Madrid
head-to-head is first tie-breaker. Dortmund won at home and they tied in Madrid.dena wrote:People are saying Dortmund won the group, but they are on 11 and Madrid on 8.. GD is close enough that Madrid can tie on points and win on GD in the final round, what am I missing?

Re: Man City vs Real Madrid
Poor ref. Ronaldo Was fouled so many times and just let them get away with it.
And it was never a penalty, was an obvious dive.

Re: Man City vs Real Madrid
Wasn't going to get out of the group before this game anyway, so seeing Ronaldo vent his sexual frustrations and Silva have a stunning second half was enough entertainment for the night.

Looked dangerous for a bit. Didn't do too much of note though.

Early on he was ripping then nearly scored but cleared after he chipped Hart but it didn't have enough on it, got fouled a few times and nothing given, nothing special.VivaRonaldoLAD wrote:Did he play well?

Re: Man City vs Real Madrid
I hope Barcelona wins it. Or at least someone who tries to play attacking football.
Have to say I died a little inside watching Chelsea park the airbus and be rewarded for it last CL.
It be different if it was some underdog club, but seeing a world power like Chelsea play like that was pretty gross.
