He's better than Ruud in some aspects, but as far as a goalscorer is concerned not many are better than Ruud, I would guess you've never seen Cantona play a full match, Cantona was just far ahead of his time, if RvP went back to that time he'd look like Cantona too.

All that said I don't think he meant he's better than both, just that he's a mix of their styles.
