Despite the defeat, Ferguson was able to draw a number of positives from the performance of his young side, who created enough chances to get something from the match.
"It was a wonder goal that beat us," said the United manager. "We had a lot of good chances but with a goal like that we have no complaints, You can't do a lot about it.
"We had a young side out that did very well at times. I'm satisfied they put a decent performance in.
"It was a good experience for the youngsters. Nick Powell I though in the first half did quite well for us and Phil Jones had an excellent game. It's only his second game in about nine months so I'm very pleased with that part.

If Giggs plays then that just means we will lose the game and it will be a fact if he plays.

Now Cleverley and Anderson are out we can forget about winning it even in our dreams, only hope is a 0-0.

I'd go for something similar, srs.
Comes to a point where Jones is a better option in midfield than Giggs or Scholes.

I would actually go for this only way we'll get anything out of the game....

Plus that way we have Smalling, Evans, Rio, Jones, Fletcher, Carrick, van Persie and arguably Rooney who does a lot of work defending set pieces to defend them, I think we're going to concede from a corner or freekick.

It's not as bad as when Anton Ferdinand would copy Rio's hairstyle a few months after.

As I predicted a few nights back, Silva's apparently been passed fit for Sunday.

Vidic, Kagawa, Nani and Valencia all out.
Only fit winger we have is Young
Return of the diamond then, which means we're fucked.

According to whom? He's only in contention as far as I'm aware. He'll probably play if he's anywhere near fitness though, because he's the only player we have that can pick out a pass consistently.

Anderson and (probably) Cleverley too.VivaRonaldoLAD wrote:Vidic, Kagawa, Nani and Valencia all out.

If he wants to go for it:
Carrick, Fletcher
Welbeck, Rooney, Young
van Persie
Welbeck, Rooney, Young
van Persie
If not, make one change from the Reading game: Jones in for Anderson.
Zzonked, one of the papers' twitter page reported it last night. No idea how true it is, it just wouldn't surprise me if he plays.

Be honest you'd rather have van Persie at Arsenal injured and never going to play football again but just to sit there being van Persie over Podolski and Giroud.19Jones19v wrote:Fixedkyro7 wrote:RVP: "His [Ferguson] Cock is very direct.
