The Suarez ones I've seen have been going in with studs into players legs or stamping which is actually dangerous, but I agree a lot of Scholes' tackles get laughed off.

For me that is a horrendous tackle, studs straight into the defender, whereas Scholes just puts each leg either side of the player and kicks the ball..

I've seen worse tackles from Scholes but that doesn't mean this was any less deserving of a sending off and should have been pointed out by the commentators.

I think that's the issue here by the way. Not that this was really bad but rather that no one cares when Scholes does things like this.

It's not, it's just a Scholes thing, it's like everyone has come to accept he's a bad tackler so will just be reckless and we'll go typical Scholes and laugh it off, but I genuinely don't think that was all that bad, yellow card at most for me and I'd say the same if it was Suarez making the challenge.

Yeah, I wasn't saying it was as bad as Suarez or whatever. My point was it doesn't get talked about. Whenever Suarez does a stamp or whatever, there are so many gif images of it on here and on RedCafe or whatever. I shall wait and see if Match of the Day say anything though. If they do, fair enough, but if they don't .. pretty pathetic, considering they replayed Suarez's one against Wigan about 10 times over.
