How have they done well at all?

Well apart from the end of the first half where they fell apart, they've been pretty solid in the second half.Ra's al Ghul wrote:kyro7 wrote:Feel sorry for Spurs, feel they've done well with 10 men for so long.

Get in!
Great result that should hopefully give us our confidence back. Giroud 5 in 5 now, finally finding his feet. Love him.

But they didn't even manage to implement a proper damage limitation tactic. They conceded five goals, how many more were you expecting them to concede?

Well you got that late goal where it was just over, but in the second half they could have got another goal and made more of a match than I expected.Ra's al Ghul wrote:But they didn't even manage to implement a proper damage limitation tactic. Just love Giroud up front. His movement is sublime and now he's finding his finishing. Gonna be a quality striker, like I said he would be.
Walcott is surely a must keep. He's been playing very well.

But they didn't, though. Are we crediting them for things they could have done now? They were honestly pathetic throughout. They rarely threatened our goal after the sending off and still managed to concede five. I'm not sure how you think they did well.

As I said, I was more aiming at the second half which up until the last minute they scored one and you scored one.Ra's al Ghul wrote:kyro7 wrote:Well you got that late goal where it was just over, but in the second half they could have got another goal and made more of a match than I expected.Ra's al Ghul wrote:But they didn't even manage to implement a proper damage limitation tactic. Rarely threatened your goal? Bale scored, Bale went close again, Defoe had a chance from the corner. Arsenal played well, but only after an unfair red card.

Giroud reckons it was an amazing atmosphere tonight.

Yeah I'm really glad to see Walcott stepping up now, the confidence is there now and hope we definitely keep him as he's going to be key for us now.blackskar wrote:Just love Giroud up front. The hate towards Arsenal saying we're lucky etc etc, we still had to go out and score and we scored 5 goals regardless.

So they threatened our goal three times in 75 minutes? I'd say that counts as rarely threatened our goal, yes.

He's the new Chamakh don't you know because he didn't score a hat trick in every game.

Apparently AvB said "We were in control from the first minute to the last" in his press conference.

I've been bumming Giroud since he was confirmed to sign, then everybody said he was shite after like 2 games with Arsenal.
He will make you more mad every passing week.
"Giroud is World Class."
