Friend Getting His Big Break

My friend Dave owns a small local studio and writes original music as well. He actually made it onto the new Twilight soundtrack. Still, that's a huge accomplishment, and millions of people will be hearing his song and finding out about his band. Always happy to see colleagues getting out there. He's literally one of the nicest people I've met in my life, very humble guy.

Amazing. How did he make it on a film soundtrack?

I actually don't know. He's a badass studio guy though, I'm guessing that's how it happened. He probably did a record for somebody and then the word spread. Seriously, this guy will spend like 8 hours on a track that is already finished just getting the compression perfect. For reals, he is a really good sound and recording guy. It's cool to see him work.

Because man, it's Twilight. Of course it's a huge deal, that's the point of the thread. It don't mean he won't catch flack for it though.

Eh, yeah. It's alright, decent series I guess, but a lot of people make jokes of it here. That's all I'm saying. Strong Twilight defenders. I don't have a problem with the series myself, will probably watch the final one.
