Master Glen the worshipful, the operation has been resumed. As the grand architect of the universe, join me behind closed doors for the light, far away from the profane.

This country goes way too far with James Bond, I think, though.
I tried that 007 aftershave today. Rank. It's smells cheap and nasty. It's something Del Boy would wear.

You are reckless, Samaras. You are just providing the spark for the imminent...explosion, when everything is revealed.Samaras wrote:Glen Damon wrote:I have no idea about what you are talking.

I've heard the new James Bond is quite good, but what I want to know is if it's good as an actual James Bond film, or just good as an action film?

Glen nothing can be revealed when the communication takes place behind closed doors.
I do take what you say on board. As Grand Master I should not have mentioned anything in the presence of muggles.

Probably the latter, but then I don't particularly like the old James Bonds. Find them way to cheesy.ayvee1 wrote:I've heard the new James Bond is quite good, but what I want to know is if it's good as an actual James Bond film, or just good as an action film?

Same.
I think I've watched 20 minutes of a Piers Brosnan one and just thought, this really isn't as good as it's made out.
Haven't watched any of the Daniel Craig, Piers Brosnan or any previous ones.

Not just that, I just don't see the whole big deal of the franchise.
I'd rather watch the Die Hard films or Harry Potter over that.
The best Harry Potters are 1,2 and 3. All the newer ones aren't as good.

I love the Bond films but I can't watch the new Bond films. I don't like him, I grew up with a cool, suave Pierce Brosnan Bond.
The new guy wouldn't look out of place in a Manhattan crack house.

Well you might have a better idea if you actually watched a single one of them.
And the first two Harry Potters were the worst. The last couple pissed all over them.

Hmm, fair point. I might have to one day, there's gotta be one on TV soon with all this Bond hype.
I like the first two, although Goblet of Fire is one of my favorites.
I really like the Fast and Furious franchise, not many people do that I'm friends with sadly.
