That's not acceptable, when you pay over 20 million for a player they should take a penalty v anyone, even their old club if they are our best penalty taker, especially considering he just scored.Kuled wrote:Would prefer van Persie, our best penalty taker to take penalties from now on Guess he was nervous since it's against his old club.

At least we've gotten the bullshit penalty out of the way. Bonus points that it was missed as well.

Every single one of our players, other than Mannone, has been crap.

I'm not condoning Robin's excuse (for all we know, he wanted to take it but Rooney insisted ) but I can somewhat understand why.kyro7 wrote:That's not acceptable, when you pay over 20 million for a player they should take a penalty v anyone, even their old club if they are our best penalty taker, especially considering he just scored.Kuled wrote:Would prefer van Persie, our best penalty taker to take penalties from now on Guess he was nervous since it's against his old club.

Theo was the most vocal about it, but a few others have always said he's shit positionally and made anyone who played left back look worse than they are.

Piers saying Santos shouldn't play for you again. Not because he's shite, but because he got van Persie's shirt at HT.

Yeah but even still, surely players shouldn't be thinking about swapping shirts at half time? They should be thinking about what they've just done in the past 45 minutes, what they did wrong, what they should be doing in the second half etc..

Who'd want an average as fuck LBs shirt?
Bet we make no changes at HT.

Well RvP doesn't do that as he just goes off luck through his career that will soon run out, also a man of low morals so what do you expect?AndItsKoren! wrote:Yeah but even still, surely players shouldn't be thinking about swapping shirts at half time? Didn't even cross my mind that you were having a go at me mate Like I said, if that was the case (on why Robin didn't take it) than I don't think it's good enough either but I can understand it. Ah well, no use complaining about it now, it's not as if Robin has a flawless record either.kyro7 wrote:I'm not having a go at you though am I, I'm having a go at that excuse if it is why.

Exactly, so he should be the one putting even more effort into changing his ways so when the luck does run out he can be better than Hernandez.
