Re: Chat Thread
I don't get that. How the fuck can you support a club and then just stop? I'll be supporting Arsenal until my last breath and that's what's annoying.

I know, I took some girl I know to go see a film the other week, and I was like 'oh, I'll pay' and it was 18 quid for 2 tickets, I was seriously pissed off (on the inside). I thought the woman had said 8 pound, and I was like 'that's cheap' and asked her to repeat herself, and it was 18 quid..

Can't be bothered typing them again, will just reply to Che in short, I like what I'm doing because education as a goal rather than a means to an end is very fulfilling. I find it stimulating and flexible.
Personally, I don't even know what I want or makes me happy.
Wait, that's a lie. Sleeping does.
Well I don't think many people do. I just think the main thing is to take in and enjoy the journey as much as possible without getting fixated on something at the end that will provide you fulfillment.

I hate it when you're in your room and your parents are having a gathering, then when they're showing them the house my room gets raided
Back where I used to live you could spend £30 at the cinema no sweat

Re: Chat Thread
So the other day the Egyptian army decided to run aircraft tests over Cairo at 5:30am. The jets were so loud that it woke me up. Then when I was half asleep soon after, one of the jets broke the sound barrier. Although it was cool hearing a sonic boom in real life, it was frightening and after talking to several people at work, it apparently woke up a good portion of the city. In the newspaper today, I read even the President woke up from the sonic boom.

Especially with such a fucking careerless course like English, Im confident I will never get a job I like, unless all my brooding angst makes me a booker prize winner..

Re: Chat Thread
Zzonked I hear you.
For about 6-7 years I've been kind of persauded and fixed on joining the military then pursue a career in the Police force, in recent months I've been dreading leaving college to go into this career and not happy at all to do it, good money yes, job security? of course.
Ever since I decided to scrap this for a career in business I'm so much more happy and can't wait to start another 4 years of education, the world will really be an oyster for me now. I can't wait, it's going to be great.
Follow your dreams

It does in my case. Because your local club is Arsenal, it's very hard to get tickets whereas it's easy for me so I find going to games very enjoyable.Mal wrote:Trent wrote:

I think because they're in a niche market. If you want to watch a film on a ginormous screen it's incredibly impractical to find an alternative to the cinema. Same goes for hot dogs and stuff. They can charge like £20 for a hot dog because people want it and will probably still pay that much for it.

Wouldn't say supporting Bury is the most enjoyable thing for yourself and especially not this season but the success means a lot when it does come.. Same with Arsenal at the minute with you not winning a trophy for a few years.
