If you cunts are in to that shit. http://www.codeacademy.com
Nice share. I learned Python in college and I want to get back to programming. I'm interested in making apps for iOS and Android.
We're starting an Android app at uni now. We've spent over a week just coming up with ideas, not one bit of programming yet. Right now I'm coding a video remuxer that extracts mp4 files from mkvs.

Code academy is not a good way to learn how to code. There is no way to trace execution/flow etc.

It does help with basics but you're right, it isn't the best.

I guess. I think there are some text tutorials that help better though.
http://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/
For example.
But no one has come up with a good way to trace what I was talking about before.. if you have 15 minutes...

Now you can argue about the rising costs of universities and if some of the expensive colleges are worth the extra cost. But in general, higher education is almost necessary.

Does anyone know of a website where you can download the instrumental of songs?
I'd like the instrumental for The Streets - Stay Positive but I can't find it on YouTube.
It's for my Film coursework. I'm gonna try and base my film around that song and include my car. Others in the class will be mirin. They dont have the use of a car.

I'm not really thinking about money right now but if it comes then it's a bonus. App development isn't great for money anyway. I'm just going to follow my dad's path. He's working for Google and ballin' now so

I'd love to work for a Google or Apple or Oracle but all those companies are on the west coast, the biggest east coast tech giant is IBM, who I just started working for, liking it so far but want to get into more creative stuff, so I have to grind as a part of a lower ranked team right now.

The real world in that context is basically just a byword for doing a job you don't enjoy for a wage so you can maybe enjoy the time you don't spend working. The way people do that sort of thing just seems like a walking dream, as far as I'm concerned studying is more of the real world. I generally have enough time to myself reflect, think about where I'm at and generally fit studying in around that when I feel motivated. Obviously some day I'm going to have to make a wage, but I honestly think I'll lean towards a lower paying job that I enjoy. The real world isn't joyless work maaaan. Sorry to get all hippy on you.

Does anyone here like Jake Bugg btw?
I saw him live over a year ago when no one had heard of him and he got a massive cheer when he announced he only had 1 more song to sing
1 year later he's top of the album charts and doing pretty well for himself, it's amazing.
My best mate went to school with him too, and he's the cousin of a girl I was mates with at college.

Or just specially Google search for the song. There are probably torrents out there.

The real world is doing what you have to do to survive though, most people have no idea what they like to do, and can be conditioned to learn to enjoy their work for a variety of reasons. It's not joyless but it's not necessarily your dream job either.

The best part of Homeland so far is the faces that this chick Carrie makes. It's like a comedy underneath a drama.

Came home today, felt all fine. Went to the kitchen, got a bottle of water, turned around and just randomly puked in the middle of the kitchen. Wasn't just some shitty thing, it contained bits of chicken which i'd had for lunch. It was just so unexpected, I literally didn't feel any different to usual.
