You're going to die one day Jamie. Think about that. Picture a vast nothingness forever. Now picture yourself unable to even be aware of that vast nothingness. It's probably very difficult. Now, do you really want to take up a habit that accelerates the process of you reaching that stage?JamieB wrote:I started smoking properly when i was around 18, not a lot but still won't be doing it forever tbf

I think the worst part is that you end up coughing all the time and have breathing troubles for the short time you are actually alive. I don't judge people who smoke, but it just seems a pretty rough path to go down.

You should, second-hand smoke is a serious issue. Ruining your own health is one thing but if what you're doing has a negative impact on the health of others then you're just an inconsiderate cunt.

Well I'm sure that will only be significant given a significant exposure to smoke. Now that smoking is banned indoors here it's pretty easy to avoid all but a passing amount of smoke if you try.

I want to add a story in the Lad diary but I'd rather not incriminate myself. I don't know if they authorities are watching me.

Carpe Diem is seize the day right? I dunno, it seems a bit more shortsighted than YOLO. The preference stems from all the douchebags saying YOLO I'm assuming.Ted wrote:Bogdan wrote:The concept of YOLO is actually good, the execution is horrible.

Re: Chat Thread
It's not about which is more fun to say.... Seize the day to me sounds like just take all the opportunities presented to you everyday, while YOLO is a reminder of your temporary existence and how you should struggle to do something important and leave your mark on the world.

Those things you plug in your car's fag lighter? I bought one ages ago but never got the chance to use it cause my fag lighter doesn't work, think the fuse might be gone. For £3 or whatever they are you can't complain really, even if they don't work.

Yeah definitely worth it for the price. I got mine in April for £7 an it's lasted me up until this week, so I'm gonna need to get a new one so thanks for reminding me

Re: Chat Thread
No its not that. You plug it in to the iPod then set a frequency on it then find that on your radio and it plays your music through the radio.

Re: Chat Thread
yes Ham i have one, it works very well if you find a good frequency to do it on sometimes takes about 2-4 tries to get a working frequency though

I'll make love to you
When you want me to
And I will not let go
Till you tell me to
such a legendary song
