He better be since he demands to take them. Aguero wasn't too happy about it

Well he's earned the right to take every single penalty when he's on the pitch imo, Aguero can eat a dick.

    All scored, no?

I'd say he has the right to take them.

Scores all of them, and even at clutch moments, lets say last season last minute v Spurs, cool as fuck, he never panics.

It's not a shame, he should be pissing them off if it means he takes the penalty. I can understand why Eto'o thought he should have it, but there's no way he's a better penalty taker in reality. Also not really in the sense that he doesn't piss off his teammates (anymore), I'm pretty sure most of them know he's the designated penalty taker now and have no reason to dispute that. I seriously doubt Aguero would have been pissed off, it's pretty obvious whenever Mario is on the pitch, he's taking the penalties. He did piss off Kolarov at a free kick once, but that's less cut and dry.

I don't feel he's that great at penalties.. I just don't see it or feel he gives off that reliable energy.

Balotelli is a good penalty taker but this isn't the only place where it's getting taken out of hand, lots of players has gone on a run of 8 out of 8 penatlies who most wouldn't consider " great penalty takers"

Maybe it's not just because he's scored 8/8, maybe it's because his technique is basically flawless. Maybe it's because every goalkeeper he faces knows exactly what he's going to do, but has no way of saving it. But it's not about whether he's good a penalties or he pisses off his teammates, you're just looking for reasons to have a go at him.

Just because he doesn't pick a side and mindlessly blast it doesn't mean he isn't reliable. The opposite in fact, all great penalty takers change their mind mid-penalty, Matt Le Tissier said the same.

I feel he is great at them. He always looks supremely confident and has made some in really clutch situations.

I'd be quite confident if he was taking a 90 minute pen for my team.

I'm saying he is good at pens but people are making it too big of a deal and you are saying he is flawless. This conversation has the potential to go no where.

Hasn't he never missed a penalty at all, not just at City?

Could be wrong. Hardly deserves to be taken off penalty duty when he keeps putting them away, especially at crucial timess- Spurs last season, Dortmund on Wednesday...
