Manchester United winger Ashley Young came to the aid of an eight-year-old boy, who is believed to have been hit by a Range Rover, at the weekend.
The England international, who has been out of action for the Red Devils due to injury, was on his way to watch the former Premier League champions take on Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford on Saturday when he stopped to help the boy and his distressed dad.
Michael Robinson, who saw the incident, told The Sun: "We were on our way to the game when we heard a sickening thud. When we turned round we could see this young lad on the floor screaming and shouting.
"As we got closer I saw that Ashley Young had stopped to help the boy. There was blood on the back of the lad's head and he was crying as his dad held him in his arms. Ashley was on his phone and seemed to be very concerned.
"The lad seemed more shook up than anything but then he seemed to get worse. Ashley wasn't bothered about kick-off. He waited with the young lad and his dad."
Once medics arrived at the scene Young left to watch his side lose 3-2 to Tottenham Hotspur.

Was it Ashley Youngs car that hit him?

I see he wasn't bothered to get off his phone.
And who is to say that really is Ashley Young? Because he's black and wearing red?

It's stupid when you guys turn a nice gesture into "anybody would do that".

A nice gesture is giving someone flowers, helping an old woman across the road.
This guy has seen somebody lying on the ground with blood all over them having been hit by a car.
"Hmmm, yeah, I suppose it would be a nice gesture if I go over and help him out."

Maybe its because he was calling for help or telling someone that he was going to be late to the game...

Tbf if it was a Celtic player you'd probably make a thread and jizz at least a bit.

True. I'd probably find out about it on Twitter. When I read it my heart would start beating faster. I'd click on the link to find out it's true and one of our players actually did help somebody who got run over. I'd start getting an erection. I'd then head over to the Playmaker and make a thread about it accompanied by a few not worthy smileys. Go to the bathroom, lock myself in and start rubbing one off which would last for at least couple of hours. I'd jizz absolutely everywhere. Including in my own mouth.

I can only imagine the frenzy if a Rangers player was spotted ignoring someone hit by a car.
