I told you all Gervinho would turn good. Was just rusty last season.

Bit disappointed really. If Gervinho wasn't a penis we would have probably got the three points.

Well the cunts gave Wilshere Santi's number at the start of the summer so I had the name swapped

We would have definitely won if he had composure and control when running, none the less it was a very good performance from us, deserved the win, but was confident coming into the game and we didn't disappoint.BladeGunner wrote:Bit disappointed really. Good point and performance. Mertesacker, Ramsey and Jenkinson the stand outs.

Agreed. Really happy for Ramsey. Hope it gives him the required boost of confidence to get his career back on track.

Mertesacker giving me headaches . Koscielny and he were near perfect.. We should've scored more, that's all there is to say really . A football match has chances, and defensive errors and all that , just like this one

Don't think Arteta did anything right that game He's allowed a rare off game though
Giroud looked good when he came on.

Nice to know Ramsey can play on the wing effectivly too. Gives us another option.

Arteta was really good in the first half but his influence diminished after they brought on a third defensive minded midfielder. But I did feel that he misplaced an unusual amount of passes today.

Arteta is fucking knackered, you could see in in the second halves of both the Montpellier and City games, he definitely needs be rested against Coventry. Ramsey was spectacular today, best I've seen him play since he got injured, I've noticed a spring in his step recently and it's good to see he's back, he looked very good on the wing and in midfield, so much energy and drive with the ball and technique too.
Cazorla was exceptional as usual, Mertesacker read the game beautifully and Koscielny was solid defensively, bar that poor clearance that was probably caused by the blood still rushing through his head after the goal, first time in a long time that Arsenal have 3 quality centre backs all good enough to start.
The biggest surprise was how well Gibbs and Jenkinson played, especially Jenkinson, they were composed and measured in defense and had such energy to press wingers and even the other full backs high up the pitch and winning the ball off them, we need energy like that for our full-backs and I think that they are vital to how we play.
We have really developed into a good unit, Gervinho needs to stop being a spastic in front of goal because he does everything else right, positive runs and very capable of beating players to get round the back of defences. Giroud just needs a goal to settle his nerves and I think if that happens we can expect to get top 4 with ease unlike last season and close the gap with the leaders. Promising stuff.

Probably a fair result.
David Silva played like he had aids, but Gervinho played like he was physically the aids virus. So predictable and shit, every time he's on the left he cuts outside and tries to cross, every time he's on the right he cuts inside and tries to shoot.

A draw is the fair result, I know we had chances but City had the golden Agüero chance too.
