I've missed your posts, Blade.BladeGunner wrote:George wrote:I need your help. In Film Studies we are going to start writing an essay/presentation today and I need to think of a good topic that I can write about. I have 3 titles at the moment. What one should I pick?
1. Christopher Nolan's 'Anti-Hero' protagonists.
2. The rise and fall of M.Night Shyamalan.
3. Why 'Con-Air' (1997) is the greatest movie of all time.
Number one for sure. That's very interesting. Borden and Angier from The Prestige are the clearest examples but Guy Pearce's character from Memento (a murderer) and Cobb from Inception(a criminal) can also be classed as traditional anti-heros. Hell, you could even argue that Bruce Wayne is an anti-hero, seeing as he's a vigilante who's taken the law into his hands.
Three is terrible. It's really difficult to argue it without getting very technical and I probably would be uncomfortable with that. Also, in what universe is Con-Air the greatest movie of all time anyway?
Two is probably the simplest but it's really boring. You should definitely go for one.

I hope our fans ruin their little tribute with sick chants. It's what they deserve.
So they expect us to be all jolly and tearful and applaud their gay little gesture after the vile chants they sung to us when our chairman died in Feb?
I hope our fans give them as good as we've got. The guy who died was a thick twat anyway for supporting Derby all his life.

Now I sort of understand what you were saying, still pathetic though. Not responding would be a better decision, show that you're the better club. Don't sink to their scummy levels.
I'm proud not to return the insults that we get from certain teams, shows that we're not so bitter and not scum like them.

At least Forest won't be a hypocrite. Every weekend you hope your rival's fan base gets hit with a bus, but then when one of them does you're all like, "you'll never walk alone" and start holding hands and shit.

Then you shouldn't use words like "scummy" to describe rival fans. That implies that you consider that fanbase as worthless. You cannot values someone's life if you feel they are scum.
By the way I'm not talking about you or anyone in particular. Just by what I've seen on this forum.

The picture of the boy isn't real, it's a fake web cam that people use on those sort of sites. Seen something about it a while ago, people do it with Beiber etc.
