The defender at 2:23 is priceless. Imagine seeing that in an international now. I wonder if Garrincha would have made it as a pro today, considering one of his legs was bent and shorter than the other and he had a deformed spine and drinking problem.

Most definitely but more probably another Quaresma or Adriano by the age of 24, and he started late too

Probably true, even though it feels like blasphemy to say it about one of the greats. Then again his deformity arguably helped him in a way.
